Well, it's official now...Ronan is 3 years old. Since our departure date has been constantly up in the air, we decided to have a small family birthday for our fella. He woke up to find that his animal friends had set up a little party for him. This might be Ronan's favorite day ever, because he got to have chocolate cake for breakfast....and I managed to get a photo of one of his famous faceplants this time. We later went out for a "proper" breakfast at Sophie's Cosmic Cafe and followed that with a little shopping spree for Ronan at a local candy store. With a sack of candy in hand, we went for another of our hikes through the UBC Endowment Lands and ended up at the beach. This was where the sky decided to help with the birthday celebrations.
