Faggs & Jackers.

Over the past few weeks, we've been getting to know the various different products that line the shelves at our local grocery stores. Some brands are known to us and others are new products, specific to New Zealand. I've included a few that have stood out from the rest. The first is a local coffee called Fagg's, founded by Wellington resident Mr. Alfred Fagg in 1926. There are many types of Fagg's, but we prefer ours "Italian Style". The second product is a cream-filled cake called a Jacker. I don't know if calling a cream-filled treat a Jacker is the best choice in names, but what do I know...I have the maturity level of an 8 year old.

XO ME
I believe that the correct term is Fagg HAGG.
OMG Lisa.....I am still laughing from those pics. I think everyone should experience the "Italian Style" however I hear that the "100% Columbian Style" is quite good also !! I guess the question that I have about the Jackers is....how do they taste ?? Sweet yet slightly salty ???!?!?
I love reading about all of your adventures.....keep it up. You all look great and more relaxed.
I miss the girls nights out.

Thank you Erin for raunching-up our blog! We love and appreciate that. As far as Fagg's go, I am open to tasting all styles and do not discriminate based on ethnicity.
I haven't had a jacker in a while, but if memory serves, it was a little like that popular Vancouver treat...Bubble tea. Mmmmmmmm.....a texture to remember.
