Hooray!!!! We finally got our visas on Oct. 7th after waiting a whole 17 days for the High Commission in Ottawa to issue them. So much stress just melted away that day. Weta Digital had rescheduled our flights and we are to fly out on Oct. 9th. We decided to spend our last day in Vancouver before we fly out at one of Ronan's favorite places...Kits beach. The park, the beach, hot cocoa from Starbuck's and some sweet sunshine made for a fitting end to a fun-filled 2 years in Vancouver. To top it off, we're leaving Vancouver with the best reminder of our time there, our wonderful Liam. Next stop, New Zealand.
