The past week and a bit has been so busy that we decided to take today off and just wander around Wellington and check out the sights. It's a little overcast and rainy today, so we bundled up, grabbed some coffees and hot chocolate and hit the streets. The boys were feeling a little under the weather, but that didn't stop them from having fun. We spent a bunch of our time on Cuba Street, which is the Wellington equivalent of Commercial Drive mixed with Haight Street. We checked out a variety of shops and Ronan discovered a neat store that sold all kinds of crystals and beautiful polished rocks. After purchasing a red box full of shiny treasures for our "big guy", we dropped by a Turkish restaurant for an early dinner. There, we enjoyed chicken dinners and cold ginger beer...yum.
