Where the magic happens.
Well, I've been working at Weta Digital for a few days now and I absolutely love it. I'm currently on a movie called "The Waterhorse" and I'm working on my first two shots. It's great to be back working on movies again!!! I'm not working out of the main building that LOTR and King Kong were made in, but another one that is housing Weta's animation team. It seems that there are very few buildings in Wellington that Peter Jackson doesn't own. The picture above is the Animation building and the picture below is the view we get...pretty sweet.
We bought a new camera, so we hope to be posting a little bit more regularly now. Besides learning how to drive on the other side of the road, most of our spare time has been spent looking for a house to rent. We've come close a few times, but nothing yet. We've got a few places we're looking at tomorrow, so fingers crossed.

Monster view! I think I could sit out there and devour a few bag lunches. Good to see the old enthusiasm is back. Hope a nice place comes up soon. Take care.
