We finally found our new home!!!!
There she is...our new home in New Zealand, which is located in a southern section of Wellington called Island Bay. It's an adorable little beach town with nice restaurants and pubs, a large grocery store, the best butcher in Wellington, a video store, an excellent "Kindy" (preschool) and a great children's playground to name a few of the things. Our place has 3 bedrooms, a kitchen with all new "white wear" (appliances), a little yard and a huge deck facing the ocean.

Our yard isn't the biggest, but it's big enough for our kids to have fun in, which they did as we were checking out the house.
Yes, you guessed correctly. That is the view from our deck...and our livingroom...and our bedroom.
Here's downtown Island Bay. It's extremely cute and has everything we need, but if we need more, downtown Wellington is only a 10 minute drive away.
After we agreed to take the place, we decided to stop off and try a local restaurant. The lunch was yummy and Lisa enjoyed an iced coffee. It's such a relief to finally have a place, but now we have to get it furnished. There are plenty of places that rent furniture, which is what we'll do for now until we buy our own stuff. Our wonderful friends, Anna & Eric have a ton of kitchen items from a previous Weta employee that they're giving us, so our kitchen is taken care of, but that leaves the rest of the house to fill up. The kids furniture is on route, but won't be in New Zealand until the start of December. I forgot to mention another great thing about our new place, which is that we get to move in next week. Tomorrow, we're going to look for a car to buy as our free rental is almost over.

We are really happy that you found a place and extra happy that you found one with a view.. now you can "Live Like Kings" with one gorgeous queen ruling your fantastic Island Bay home..
